Fall arrived and with it came the return of Ohio Wesleyan’s alumni. over Fallfest Weekend the brothers of the Theta chapter held a special cocktail party to which were invited all of the graduates from the chapter and their families the undergraduates’ families, and many of the friends of the chapter. We were pleased that many alumni were able to join us for this celebration. The alumni and undergraduates exchanged many stories about their college experience.
Even though there may be an age gap between the undergraduate and the alumni, the two groups interacted as if they had been friends for life, enriching their Beta experiences. But the weekend was not all fun. Theta chapter member dedicated two trees in honor of two fallen brothers, William Frederick Kroener IV (1967-19831 and john Kennard Eddy (1967-1988), who died 10 years ago m the fall of 1938. The brothers formed the mystic circle and sang Beta Doxology.
Lightening the somber mood, the brothers of the chapter were officially presents the prestigious session Award for chapter . Excellence .Winning our first session may have been the highest moments in the chapter. ’s history since being reinstated onto the Ohio Wesleyan Campus.
The Theta chapter also held a House corporation meeting discussing the concern about the house and the campus of both alumni undergraduates.The meeting was attended by the undergrads in chapter leadership roles and the alumni on the corporation Board.
