All organizations have someone who is continually behind the scenes guiding the group along the proper paths. So it is with Theta Chapter. That man is the chapter’s financial adviser, Robert E. Watson, ’11.
For many years, Bob has been devoting much of his time to the affairs of Theta Chapter, and its alumni-controlled House Company. It is his job to see that the insurance, taxes, mortgage interest, and all other bills of the company are paid; to see that the house is kept in good repair and to reduce the principal of the mortgage as much as passible every year.
Bob has always ken wide awake to the needs of the house, and makes as many needed repairs as he has the money for. It is a tribute to him that the chapter house is in as good shape as it is at the present time, for it is a big order to keep such a big house in repair, especially since it is so old.
The Chapter owes a great debt of thanks to Bob Watson, for the years of unselfish, unswerving loyalty he has given to them.
