C. Dee Simpson ’54 From the Arizona Daily Star

C. Dee Simpson was born in Clarion, PA, on May 18th, 1932, and passed away from Alzheimer’s complications on September 10th , 2008. His family moved to Tucson in 1947 and he graduated from Tucson High School. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and marrying Pat James, Dee served in the US Air Force for three years as a pilot. Merrill Lynch employed him throughout his business career, first as a financial consultant and then as Manager of offices in La Jolla, Beverly Hills, and Phoenix. He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Pam Alonzo (Robert); son, Scott (Susan); grandchildren, Allison, Katie and Troy; sister, Cynthia Williams and a niece and nephew.
