Michael J. Treman ’68 is an attorney for Ruston, Nance, Mc-Cormick and DiCaro. His school career consisted of being listed on the Dean’s List from 1972-74 and receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Highest Grade. Michael’s legal experience includes writing several Civil Appeals under the direction of Donald A. Ruston and Edward K. Nance, Jr. and teaching two classes of Legal Research and Writing as a teaching assistant for The Pepperdine University School of Law.
From 1969-71, Michael was in the U.S.M.C. During that time, he was promoted to Sergeant and was responsible for the development of educational and rehabilitation programs for the confines of the Camp Pendleton Correctional Center. In 1970, Michael received the Certificate of Commendation for his exceptional performance of duties while serving as training NCO of the Correctional Center. In 1971, he received the Meritorious Mast for his work in the General Education Development Program. Also in 1971, Michael received letters of recommendations due to his comprehensive knowledge of leadership and correctional philosophy and procedures.
