On The Cover

On the cover is a photograph of Ohio Wesleyan’s Perkins Observatory, given to the university by Professor Hiram Mills Perkins, Theta, ’57. The observatory houses the fourth largest refracting telescope in the world. Its 69 inch lens is now being used to study spectrum.

University to Rent Beta House

On July 1, 1943, Ohio Wesleyan will have another Naval school in addition to the Naval Flight Preparatory School aboard the U.S.S. Stuyvesant, formerly Stuyvesant Hall.
