Upon the occasion of their granddaughter’s graduation from the University of Dayton, Bob and Alsa King Cotner flew in from their Texas home and spent several days in Ohio with the editor and Jan. Not wanting to miss the opportunity for a mini-reunion of the OWU Class of ’54, Ohio brothers Jim (Jan) Meredith from Lima, “Buzz” (Shirley) Christensen from Upper Arlington and Dick DeVos from Bay Village, gathered at the Tatham’s (Jan) for a full day of reminiscing and treats. The 50’s memories of 54 W. Lincoln, “Mama Linn” along with a viewing of pictures taken by Paul Nobis ’55 and Bob Neff ’53 (taken during their years as unofficial chapter photographers) provided great pleasure for all. What pleasure to have such true friends. We are all blessed with our OWU and Beta heritage. Missing from ’54; Schwartz, Kisseberth, Marten and Treis. But it didn’t keep us from talking about them!
