Eickhoff Recognized as Rookie District Chief of the Year

Oxford, OH, August 2005 — Beta Theta Pi General Fraternity honored Eric Eickhoff, Ohio Wesleyan ’00, with the Fraternity’s Rookie District Chief of the Year award at an evening celebration in conjunction with the 166th General Convention in Scottsdale, AZ, August 4.

The award recognizes a new member of the Fraternity’s district chief ranks who distinguishes himself through work with the chapters in his district. Eickhoff, a former Administrative Office staff member, took over District VIII in northeastern OH. He will begin graduate school at the College of William & Mary this fall.

Beta Theta Pi, founded in 1839 at Miami (Ohio) University, is dedicated to building men of principle for a principled life through lifelong devotion to intellectual excellence, high standards of moral conduct and responsible citizenship. The Fraternity has more than 120,000 members including some 5,500 collegians on 123 campuses in the United States and Canada.
