Homecoming Day Set For Nov. 5

University officials have set November 3. as Homecoming Day and the undergraduates of Theta have made a full schedule of entertainment for the returning Alumni.

The university weekend gets off to an early start with a trustees’ meeting Friday morning at Stuyvesant Hall. At 6:00 pm, the Alumni Congress dinner will be held in Stuyvesant, also.

Breakfast for the Alumni Fund Council will be held at the Temporary Union Building at 8:15 am. Then at 10:00 the secretaries of the reunion classes will meet in the Alumni Office.

Beta House Luncheon

Although there are several luncheons planned, you won’t find a better crowd or better food than the Beta house will afford yo u Here is a chance to see your class  mates and he helped to large plates of good Beta food. (Incidentally, one thing on the menu is NOT ham—especially after so many comments given in previous years!)

The chapter house is open to alumni and their guests and wives the entire day.

Selby Stadium will see the Bishops wallop Mt. Union for the annual gridiron classic. After the game, you mill want to walk around to see the familiar old sights and the Homecoming decorations of the Greek-letter groups.

Thornhill to Play

For the annual Homecoming dance, Claude Thornhill and his orchestra has been engaged to play. The dance will he held in Edwards Gymnasium and will start at 8:30 pm.

Open house for all of our alumni, their wives, and friends will be held Saturday night during the dance. All of the alumni arc urged to return to Ohio Wesleyan for this gala celebration. Be sure to mark Saturday, November 5, on your calendar now!
