Earl S. Miller, ’37, is a major in the U. S. Army Air Corps in North Africa. Fie is now commandant of a base there.

Major Miller enlisted in the Air Corps in December, 1940. &nee he received his 2nd lieutenant’s commission, he has risen very rapidly.

He was co-pilot for Secretary of War Stimpson for several months, and was sta­tioned at Mitchell Field, Long Island, be­fore going overseas.

He Was in charge of the establishment of the base in Africa, and was in charge there when the Roosevelt-Churchill meet­ing took place in Casablanca.
