(Upon hearing of the passing of Bob Corey)
Sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. I thought of him recently as College Spring Breaks were starting. I remember him loading into the car at 54 W. Lincoln heading to Florida wearing his bathing trunks and a t-shirt and carrying his toothbrush. He said that’s all the essentials he needed. Great guy and great Beta Brother.
Becky sold her house in Hilliard and bought a condo nearby in Tremont Club on Davidson. I go over about once a week and pick up mail and do what ever chores she has on my list and then head back to Indian Lake. Nice thing about a condo, the list is not very long.
My oldest daughter, Mandy, still lives in Bellefontaine. She is CEO of Mary Rutan Hospital there and husband Rob is a dentist. Her oldest, Eric, will graduate this year from Hartwick College in NY and will go to Law School in the fall. (Never thought I would have a lawyer in the family.) Her youngest, Michelle is a freshman at OU. My youngest daughter, Jane, is a professor at Marietta College.
How is Dan Wright ’56 getting along? I think often about the two years I was at OWU. I missed the guys at the Beta House after I transferred to OSU, but if I would have stayed any longer I would never have gotten into Dental School. Too many opportunities to party and not study. Keep in touch. Jim
