John Bolek ’88 — Tom, it was nice to hear your voice. Sorry that I was unable to get back with you yesterday. I spoke with Marty (Haskell ’68) about a week ago. I will not be able to attend convention this year due to being in school. I will be taking a very aggressive regiment of Chemistry and Biology with labs and Psychology and an Ethics for Healthcare Professionals starting at the end of the month. I am trying to get into a Doctoral Program at Case Western Reserve University. They are requiring me to redo my sciences since it has been 18 years from when I last took them at OWU. I will be either in class or lab 7 days a week. CWRU only accepts an A or B grade. If I am successful over the next three semesters then I should be able to get into their program. It is the ND program a Doctorate in Clinical Nursing. My specialty hopefully would be a surgical flight nurse (helicopter). They recommended that I write about my experience as a Gastric Bypass Patient for my Doctoral Thesis. (ph: (330) 468-1417)
