John “Jack” Mitchell Bahouth, MD, 58, of Dexter, Georgia, died tragically May 12, 2013. While jogging, he was hit by an automobile. He was born on February 14, 1955 in Syracuse.
Jack was predeceased by his father, Nicholas Paul Bahouth. Surviving are his loving wife, Violina; mother, Hermine; sisters, Judith B. Dyne, Jill B. McAndrew (Dennis); brother, Jed; nephew, Douglas D. Dyne; nieces, Jessica J. McAndrew, Alaina J. Dyne and Colleen M. McAndrew.
Jack attended West Point Military Academy and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with a Bachelor of Science. He received his medical degree from the School of Medicine, State University of New York at Buffalo.
Jack was active with Doctors Without Borders. He served in the US Army Reserves as a physician in Bosnia and Landstuhl, Germany and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was Medical Director of Radiology at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. He practiced 32 years as a Neuroraudiologist.
