Enjoyed your rundown on some of the guys and will stay in touch. I’m a planner but also a realist, so 2003 seems like a long way out. Want to get to the new millennium and will continue planning one year at a time. Glad to hear about Charlie, the article on him was nicely done. Thanks for getting us organized and tell Rufus I hear about him from all the Cincinnati people in our development, i.e. Jim Hayes, financial planner. Tell him I’m still sailing and returned from a two-week sail into Cuba last May and the Castro experiment. It was a depressing country and not worth going back until they change governments. Is Rupert a ditto head?? Plan on keeping my boat in the Bahamas after January 1 so we can fly over and enjoy the islands in our floating condo (34′ Catamaran). Have recently sold our Villa and am building a house in this same development which will be completed next May. Come on down, Florida’s great! Adios!
P.S. Still have two large ashtrays which show the three houses that Betas have lived in since 1900. And Jack Hahn’s ink drawing of 54 West Lincoln Avenue. Will sort through some old pictures when I have time. Those were good days for all of us!
P.S.S. Just a comment about another brother, Jerry Staley, who was my pledge brother in ’52. When I moved to Stonebridge CC in Naples three years ago, looked in the book and discovered a Jerry Staley from Arlington, Ohio, who we had not talked to in 45 years. He and his wife, Jan, have become great friends in our retirement years so you may want his e-mail address also: JS0852@aol.com. Good to hear from you and thanks for producing The Theta Data!
