Larry Linderer ’55 — Judge Rufus Doan and Susie visited us this week and we swapped lies and stories about our Beta days in Delaware. Jerry Staley also came over and renewed a friendship that spanned 50 years. When I introduced Judge Doan to the ice cream store dipping teenager as Judge Doan from Cincinnati, she said, “he’s really a judge, that’s awesome”. So we call him Awesome Judge Doan now when he comes to Naples. Prior to their visit I tried to get some OWU pictures together only to find we never had a camera to take ’em. We finally decided that Paul Nobis was the only photographer during our Beta days. It was a grand visit and we hope they’re able to do it again soon. They were on their way to Amelia Island where they plan to buy a Florida retreat from the harsh midwest winters. Promises were made to meet again before another 40+ years go by. Sue mentioned that she saw our picture in some Beta publication (Theta Data?) but we had not received one recently. If you know what she’s talking about, send me a copy. Regards to Ann and thanks
