Marshall “Bud” Douthett ’58 (June 19, 2000) We were saddened to learn of the recent passing of brother Marshall Brown Douthett ’58. “Bud” had returned to several of our recent reunions and had written the editor noting how much he enjoyed returning to visit with the brothers. Bud was quite a guy, and we take great pride in his being a Beta brother. Bud served in the Navy during the Korean War. An attorney, he was assistant attorney general of Ohio for three years, and law director of Jackson, Ohio, for six years, before going into private practice. In 1993, Bud was appointed judge of the Jackson County Municipal Court. Survivors include his wife Betty, daughter Nancy Brandon, sons Breaden and Trenton, sister Nancy Brown, two grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
