Mascot No. 2

One evening in February, 1942, a home iess puppy was found in the garage at the Beta House. After about three weeks of coaxing, the Betas succeeded in getting him to come in the house. Because of his strong resemblance to Wooglin, it was decided to name him “Wooglin, Jr.”

Junior was a mongrel, but not in the common sense. He had the face of a chow, and the body the size of a chow, but his hair and markings were exactly like WOO’ wie’s. He even had that same proud carriage about him.

He was a cute dog, and immediately made a hit with the girls. He learned how to shake hands, and took every opportunity to show off. Woogie, Sr. was a bit jealous E first, but after the novelty of the new member wore off, he received his fair share of attention without forcing him self upon people.

Like Wooglin, Sr., Junior has been given to one of the brothers to keep for the duration. His present home is in Newcomers- town at Chet Hanson’s house. From all reports, he seems to like it very much.
