Navy Surgeon

Captain Winchell McK. Craig, ’15, well known neurologist of the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., was called to active ser­vice as a Naval Reserve Medical officer in December, 1941, and was sent to the U. S. Naval Hospital at Corona, California, as Chief of Surgery.

In July, 1942, Commander Craig was transferred to the U.S. Naval Hospital, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md., where he is Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery, and in addition to his surgi­cal duties, teaches at the Naval Medical School located at the Medical Center.

In December, 1942, he was promoted to hi present rank of Captain.
