of Delaware, died July 17, 2007 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware, OH. He was born August 7, 1928, in Delaware to Clyde and May (Decker) Wyant. He was a 1950 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University in chemistry and was a member of Beta Theta Pi and the Sigma Zi Chemical Honorary. He received his Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University, and was a member of the Delaware County Fair Board. He also served on the Boy Scouts of America Advisory Council and was an organic chemist for Battelle Research in Columbus, where he held more than 20 patents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Suzanne (Manuel) Wyant ’51; two daughters, Kathie (Randy) Martin of Ashley and Janet (Chris) Chadwick of Richwood; son, Tim Wyant of Delaware; seven grandchildren; daughterin-law, Carole Shih-Ying of Chelmsford, MÅ; brother James (Roberta) Wyant ’50 of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Geoff.
