“Beta Theta Pi has been one of the best choices I ever made,” writes Gardiner S. Lawrence ’92 from his new address at 131 Michele Dr., Athens, GA 30606. “Being a brother at the ‘Theta Chapter was a joy and if it wasn’t for the classes I had in take, college was the best time in my life.” A bartender, Gardiner is now working at the Edelweiss Restaurant. With a two-year commitment as a Peace Corps volunteer, Kingsley M. Anderson ’93 (Corps De La Paix, BP 227, Sikasso, Mali, West Africa) is living in a remote Senufo village of Mali and working as an agent of the Malian health system, teaching health and nutrition education to villagers.
