Greetings, T Square! Thanks for the recent issue of Theta Data, which was terrific! So sorry to read of the passing of Morgan Shrader, who was chapter president part of the time when I was there. Also, sorry to hear of the passing of Evan Roderick, who was kind of an icon in the class of 1951.
The current Greek situation at OWU is also very ad. Here at Salisbury University the Greek organizations exist mainly for service to the university and community. I’m not sure that they have the social events (formals, etc.) which we enjoyed. And you know what, I’m just so glad that we went to college in those idyllic days of the 50’s. When it was happening, we didn’t know how lucky we were … but in retrospect we can see that those were truly great times! I thank God for them!
Hope you are taking care of yourself these days … I know there are many adjustments to be made, but thank God, we can take life just one day at a time! I am also trying to practice that principle in taking care of Lee. She is still continuing in physical therapy two times a week, and making some progress with mobility, balance, etc. But it is a very slow process. Fortunately, the church is only five minutes from here, so I can shoot down there and get some things done before she ever gets up in the A.M. When next you talk to C.D. Wright, please give him my regards and tell him I will always remember our trip to Oxford with him in May of ‘05.
