Names from the OWU staff like Rickey, St. John, Gauthier, Fraser, Strimer, Geesman, and Gordon, enjoyed major achievements. These achievements were the result of superb student athletes such as Milhon, McKinnie, Mauck, Rickie, Wedge, Halliday, Ventres, Buttermore, Fouts, Gardner, Bruce, MacFarland, Hancher, Clemmons, the three Long brothers, The Linderer\u2019s dog, \u201cWoogie\u201d.
