Each year several Theta brothers gather in August for the Annual Beta Steakout and Golf Outing in Canton, OH. In the past years, John Willoughby \u201970, Terry O\u2019Hara \u201970, Steve Deuble \u201969, Steve Sherwood \u201970, Tim O\u2019Hara \u201972, Rick Hursh \u201970 have gotten together to catch up, down a few, and share memories while enjoying the company of other Betas from around the Northwest Ohio region. Always a guaranteed good time, the 39th\u00a0annual event will be held on August 15, 2006. If you are available, we would love to see you. Again in September, Steve\u00a0Sherwood, Rick Hursh and\u00a0Terry O\u2019Hara were privileged\u00a0to attend the wedding of John\u00a0Willoughby\u2019s son, Stephen\u00a0in Canton, OH. A most\u00a0wonderful affair, the brothers\u00a0also met Steve Deuble at\u00a0Bender\u2019s in Canton to expand\u00a0the reunion.<\/p>\n
On a personal note, daughter\u00a0Megan graced the family\u00a0with twin girls, Catherine and\u00a0Julia on Oct. 8th\u00a0making us\u00a0grandparents times three.<\/p>\n
Later email to Haskell …\u00a0We just got back from a Beta\u00a0steak fry in Canton, OH\u00a0for the brothers who live in\u00a0NW OH and the area. John Willoughby, Tim and Terry\u00a0O\u2019Hara, Steve Deuble, Rick\u00a0Hursh and myself were there.\u00a0Ron Snyder, another \u201970s\u00a0brother was supposed to be\u00a0there, but scheduling\/work\u00a0caught him elsewhere. It\u2019s an\u00a0annual event and we have a\u00a0lot of fun. If the Theta Data\u00a0is still published, this event\u00a0could make it into the pages\u00a0… earlier this year talked with\u00a0Ralph Hoelzer. He\u2019s retired\u00a0from Filene\u2019s, living just off\u00a0Cape Cod and working, very\u00a0happily, in a \ufb02ower store\u00a0near Boston.
