Woodhill Dr.,\u00a0Ashland, OH 44805) submitted\u00a0this news: On June 12, Aggie and\u00a0Hal Fausnaugh invited Renee\u00a0and Eddie O\u2019Day \u201950, Evelyn\u00a0and Bob Mauck \u201948, and Phyllis and Hugh Troth to the Roycroft\u00a0Inn in East Aurora, N.Y. This\u00a0was our semi-annual Beta gettogether. Aggie had sent trip\u00a0tickets and literature to all of us\u00a0months ago. We toured President\u00a0Millard Fillmore\u2019s home (which\u00a0he built with his own hands), the\u00a0Roycroft Museum (the arts and\u00a0crafts center of the world), a\u00a0Methodist church (with all the\u00a0original Tiffany stained glass\u00a0windows which cost the church\u00a0$15,000 in 1927 and have an\u00a0estimated value of over $11\u00a0million today), and the world\u2019s\u00a0largest bicycle museum. At our first attitude adjustment hour,\u00a0Hal and Aggie presented their\u00a0surprise! It was Dan Ransom \u201951\u00a0and his lovely bride, Betty. Bob Mauck had pledged Dan and\u00a0Hugh Troth was his big brother.\u00a0What a thrill. We had not seen\u00a0Dan for 50 years! Dan and his wife are in the real estate business\u00a0in Orchard Park, N.Y., and sell\u00a0vineyards, horse farms and\u00a0prestige properties. Ann and Bill Long \u201951 couldn\u2019t make this gettogether, but they had a great\u00a0excuse \u2014 they were celebrating\u00a0their 50th wedding anniversary by taking their children and\u00a0grandchildren (all 20 of them) on\u00a0a chartered bus all over the\u00a0western U.S. We heard they had a fantastic time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
