The Theta Chapter House Company met on August 27 at\u00a02:00 p.m. at the chapter house to elect officers and plan\u00a0for the coming year.<\/p>\n

Brother Martin Haskell \u201968 stepped down as President so\u00a0that he can assume duties as District Chief for District X\u00a0(Cincinnati-Dayton area) of the General Fraternity. Marty will\u00a0stay involved and active with Theta Chapter as SecretaryTreasurer of the House Company.<\/p>\n

Brother Richard DeVos\u00a0\u201954 was elected President of\u00a0the House Company and will\u00a0lead us through our 150th\u00a0anniversary celebration in 2003. Dick has been serving\u00a0as our representative to the\u00a0Alumni IFC and was recently\u00a0elected to be the Alumni IFC\u2019s representative on the Alumni Board of the University.<\/p>\n

Dick\u00a0attended the 161st General Convention where he participated in a\u00a0rather intense adviser\u2019s training program. Just ask Dick any\u00a0question of Beta ritual and he can give you the answer!\u00a0Brother Tom Tatham will continue as editor of Theta Data and\u00a0be responsible for alumni relations and communications.<\/p>\n

As our committed team of House Company officers and\u00a0advisers has come together to meet recent challenges, we have\u00a0realized how important it is to have a team to work with the\u00a0chapter. The Men of Principle Initiative recognizes this by\u00a0requiring each Men of Principle chapter to maintain a cadre of\u00a0seven active advisers in various areas. This approach spreads the\u00a0work, generates a diverse idea pool and makes the whole process\u00a0an enjoyable and easy one for all.<\/p>\n

Your officers and advisers on the House Company would like\u00a0to invite more of you who live close to Delaware to become\u00a0involved. Advisers need to give only one afternoon or evening\u00a0per month (6-8 total) during the school year to make a significant\u00a0impact on the chapter. Please come join us on this journey of\u00a0Brotherhood in our great and good fraternity.<\/p>\n
