“Of further interest might be the\u00a0fact that I was selected as one of the\u00a0five swimming officials representing\u00a0the United States at the Olympics\u00a0conducted in Montreal last July.<\/p>\n
“I am still flying the flag as a bird\u00a0colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve\u00a0and head a Law’Voluntary Training\u00a0Unit for this part of the country.<\/p>\n
“For fun and games I am a\u00a0volunteer associate counsel for the\u00a0Amateur Athletic Unior as well as\u00a0being the vice-chairman of the Law and Legislation Committee of the\u00a0Amateur Athletic Union. To fill the\u00a0extra spare time, I am the chairman\u00a0of the Amateur Athletic Union Age\u00a0Group-JO Swimming Rules Committee.<\/p>\n
“When those voluntary activities\u00a0run out and when time allows I\u00a0practice law to support the eating\u00a0habit and am contributing to the educational systems with a daughter,\u00a0Kathy, at Brown University in\u00a0Providence and a son, Bill, starting\u00a0his freshman year at Duke.
