Michael J. Treman ’68 is an attorney\u00a0for Ruston, Nance, Mc-Cormick and DiCaro. His school\u00a0career consisted of being listed on the Dean’s List from 1972-74 and\u00a0receiving the American Jurisprudence\u00a0Award for Highest Grade.\u00a0Michael’s legal experience includes writing several Civil Appeals under\u00a0the direction of Donald A. Ruston and\u00a0Edward K. Nance, Jr. and teaching\u00a0two classes of Legal Research and\u00a0Writing as a teaching assistant for\u00a0The Pepperdine University School of\u00a0Law.<\/p>\n
From 1969-71, Michael was in the\u00a0U.S.M.C. During that time, he was\u00a0promoted to Sergeant and was\u00a0responsible for the development of educational and rehabilitation\u00a0programs for the confines of the\u00a0Camp Pendleton Correctional Center.\u00a0In 1970, Michael received the Certificate\u00a0of Commendation for his\u00a0exceptional performance of duties\u00a0while serving as training NCO of the\u00a0Correctional Center. In 1971, he\u00a0received the Meritorious Mast for his\u00a0work in the General Education\u00a0Development Program. Also in 1971,\u00a0Michael received letters of recommendations\u00a0due to his comprehensive\u00a0knowledge of leadership and\u00a0correctional philosophy and\u00a0procedures.
