The\u00a0fraternity was after quality rather than quantity as many other\u00a0fraternities on the hill pledged more\u00a0than the Beta house. Our rush\u00a0program consisted of numerous parties where freshmen were invited\u00a0up by special invitation. As twelve\u00a0fraternities were competing for the\u00a0freshmen class, the Betas felt that\u00a0they should have a more personal\u00a0rushprogram. We didso to mlke sure\u00a0that we got the pledges that ,,we\u00a0really wanted&#8221;.
