The Beta House at Ohio Wesleyan\u00a0University, while under the administration\u00a0of Lee Silvas received\u00a0new carpeting and a new image via the Pledge Class of 1928.<\/p>\n
The issue concerning the new\u00a0carpet to be distributed amongst the\u00a0living room, second and third floors,\u00a0was voted upon by the brothers on the\u00a0twenty-sixth day of January, 1975.\u00a0Thecolor of the carpet was discussed\u00a0at length and the decision to install a red carpet on the second and third\u00a0floors was discussed, voted upon and\u00a0passed. The carpet arrived the fourth\u00a0week of spring term. It was installed\u00a0just recently and makes the house\u00a0look fantastic.<\/p>\n
The Pledge Class of t9Z8 recenily\u00a0planted shrubs around the property of\u00a0the Beta House. Roughly thirty\u00a0shrubs of many varieties were planted and helped to ring in the long\u00a0awaited and anxious feeling of spring.\u00a0On Sunday of April 27, the pledges\u00a0arrived on the grounds of the Beta\u00a0House with picks and shovels, ready\u00a0for action. They dug till they sweat,\u00a0and they sweat till they were\u00a0exhausted. “The job was finally\u00a0finished and the outcome of the\u00a0Pledges effort was apparant when\u00a0they stepped back to see what they\u00a0had done.
