The 1974 Ohio Wesleyan Lacrosse\u00a0team has been greatly endowed by the\u00a0Theta Chapter at OWU. There are\u00a0presently 16 Betas competing for the\u00a0lacrosse team. tsrothers Luke Tennis,\u00a0John Hildebrand and John Narwicz\u00a0have contributed greatly to the
\nteam’s success. Brother Tennis led\u00a0the Lacrosse team with 14 goals and\u00a027 assists.<\/p>\n
At the midfield, fhe Betas controled\u00a0this position. Brothers Charles\u00a0Hartigan and Gary Switala played\u00a0first midfield and Brothers Manseim\u00a0C., Narwicz, and Sargent played\u00a0second midfield on what most\u00a0lacrosse people say was the finest\u00a0midfield in the Midwest. Brothers\u00a0Bremmaman and Perkins have also\u00a0showed great promise for the future.<\/p>\n
At the Rear Guard, Brothers Pete\u00a0Tracy and Tom Oberecht led the\u00a0defense, with brother Brian Welsh\u00a0pushing there two men to their outstanding\u00a0play. In Goal is Scott Kean,\u00a0as outstanding player who made the\u00a0O.W.U. lacrosse season one of\u00a0greatness. Although the O.W.U. team\u00a0Eolowssli nthge midwesl championship to Green 13-11 the promise of\u00a0the young team will yeild great gains\u00a0in the future.
