After 39 years\u00a0at Oberlin, I came down here to this\u00a0small Episcopal college in Virginia,\u00a0where I teach courses in drama and\u00a0comparative lit and serve as advisor\u00a0in the Humanities. At Oberlin, in\u00a0addition to my work as Professor of\u00a0French, I founded the Oberlin College\u00a0Gilbert and Sullivan Players and\u00a0continued to be active in it, both on campus and as summer stock at Cape\u00a0Cod until my retirement&#8221;.
