Theta’s rush program headed by co-chairman\u00a0Jon Sherman and Jack\u00a0Salerno had a successful year\u00a0culminating with the pledging of eighteen outstanding freshmen.\u00a0Pledge President Thomas Obrech,\u00a0one of the many promising\u00a0lacrosse\u00a0players in the pledge class was elected in the recent election by his\u00a0brothers. This fine leader will prove a\u00a0great asset to his class in the years to\u00a0come. among the other up-and coming\u00a0lacrosse\u00a0players are: Steve\u00a0Meinsen, Chuck and John Norwicz,\u00a0Bob Sargent, Cary Switala, Brian\u00a0Welch, Steve Perkins, John\u00a0Bremerman, and Duncan Hill.\u00a0Another outstanding athlete, Ed Peal\u00a0plays forward on the varsity\u00a0basketball team. To round out this\u00a0great class are: Tad Arnold, Tony\u00a0Breece, Robert Hunter, Nick Loehr,\u00a0David McCreadie, Mark Rense, and\u00a0Jack Robbins.<\/p>\n
Of these outstanding men, two are\u00a0following the fine tradition of their\u00a0fathers. John Bremmermann, son of\u00a0Jack Bremermann, a member of Beta\u00a0Xi Chapter at Tulane University and\u00a0Dundan Hili, whbSe great grandfather\u00a0Thomas Duncan was Theta at Ohio\u00a0Wesleyan University and founder of\u00a0the Alpha Eta Chapter at Denison\u00a0University are carrying on the great\u00a0tradition of Beta Theta Pi.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
