After staying in the back ground for his first two years, Johnson\u00a0forced himself to the top his junior year.\u00a0In the other two years, he was not able\u00a0to meet the competition of the Wesleyan\u00a0star, Moon Zink.<\/p>\n<p>Fred was not a consistant winner, but\u00a0was a hard fighter and always made his\u00a0opponents work for every point. He found\u00a0that his six foot three stature and his two\u00a0hundred some pounds was rather heavy to\u00a0move arount the court.
