Long was the candidate for\u00a0the Student Body presidency and\u00a0Dan Ransom was the chanter&#8217;s\u00a0rliwninee for President of the Senior Class.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Committees Formed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chairman Bill Long, of the Polideal Action committee took over\u00a0the supervision of the campaigns\u00a0with the assistance of chapter officers and each man in the house\u00a0was assigned to a committee. The\u00a0committee chairmen were \u00a0sign\u00a0making, Jim House; sign installation, Ned Speasmaker; open houses,\u00a0Hank Anderson; and publicity, Bix\u00a0Newhard.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights of the campaign were\u00a0a fifty-foot &#8220;Long&#8221; banner which\u00a0hung from the Gray Chapel tower,\u00a0stns in every strategic nook and corner on campus, two open houses,\u00a0one of vhih was a Sunday morn \u00a0ing breakfast attended by more\u00a0than 200 women, and &#8220;button-hol ing&#8221; by every Theta Beta.<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
