The undergraduates of \u00a0Theta\u00a0have learned that it nays to burn\u00a0the midnight oil, if for no other\u00a0reason than to foil any .attempts to deprive the chapter of its hard\u00a0earned trophies.<\/p>\n
Six Kappa Sigs from Ohio State\u00a0decided that the early morning\u00a0hours of March \u20229th would be an\u00a0ideal time to “get revenge.” Early in the fall, some of their trophies\u00a0turned up missing and the men of\u00a0Theta chapter were blamed.\u00a0The culprits failed to consider that some of out men would still be\u00a0awake at 1:30. This together with\u00a0the “butterfingers” of one man\u00a0meant a night in the Delaware jail for them.<\/p>\n
Bill Littick heard a noise down \u00a0stairs, investigated, saw the culprits\u00a0in the act, aroused the house with\u00a0“All out” and tackled the last man as he was leaving through the front\u00a0door. The other Kappa Sigs were\u00a0Soon captured and while mistwed\u00a0conversations took place in the front parlor, then Delaware police\u00a0arrived.<\/p>\n
A telephone conversation between the Wesleyan Dean of Men\u00a0and his counterpart at Ohio State,\u00a0the next morning helped “spring” the Kappa Sigs.<\/p>\n
