\u00a0(Judy\u2019s annual 2010 Christmas letter as edited)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In mid-May, we traveled northeast to enjoy Jack\u2019s 55th\u00a0Alumni Reunion at Ohio Wesleyan University. Granddaughter Natasha (14) traveled with us for exposure to college life and environment. She was able to meet a number of the students, professors, and even the college president. She of course found it much more mature and intriguing than Junior High School and is now convinced that she will attend the university there. As a special addition to the university visit, a small group of us OWU folks traveled to Dayton, Ohio for a few days. Through gracious friends, we were able to meet with a grandniece of the Wright Brothers \u2013 and tour their home (on the national register) as well first hand learn about her great uncles. Additionally, we toured their reconstructed workshop, their bicycle shop, and saw one of the original flyers. On the last day there, we did a full tour of the Air Force Museum. We hadn\u2019t been there in years and were amazed at the growth \u2013 especially in the collection of former Presidential aircraft (now in a special hanger).<\/p>\n

In the late summer we again had our annual Garden Railroad Open House Party. This year we celebrated a quarter of a century of large scale model railroading with the Sulphur Spring and Alum Creek Railway since it\u2019s founding in 1985. The endeavor lives on with continued development and new ideas. We are producing another video movie documenting the SAGA from its inception to present. As you can see in the enclosed photo, Jack and Judy are resting after working on the railroad and awaiting a new assignment!<\/p>\n

Finally in November, we took our usual extended Thanksgiving break with travels to visit friends Pat and Jerry Shisler (OWU 1955) in Phoenix \u2013 and then on to California to be with Jack\u2019s sister Carolyn and George.<\/p>\n

Our Christmas Holidays this year will be spent here in Albuquerque enjoying the frosty nights with family and friends basking by the pinion wood burning in the fireplace. Jack & Judy<\/p>\n
