1. Certainly, Dee was a leader! Ginger and I had hosted a \u201ckids and grand kids\u201d outing in the Rockies in 1995. After that, G and I wandered around in Arizona and New Mexico and found an opportunity to have lunch with Pat and Dee at their home. Doesn\u2019t seem that long ago.<\/p>\n

3. The two of us are comfortable in this lovely continuing care community, Southminster. We picked Charlotte 30 years ago and still think it\u2019s a great place.\u00a0Ging has had continuing\u00a0health problems and many\u00a0surgeries but keeps on\u00a0keeping on. We always\u00a0have a dog so walking the\u00a0dog\u201d and volunteer work\u00a0around here keeps me\u00a0going.<\/p>\n
